From pre-medical student to software engineer

I am originally from Multan, Pakistan. I studied pre-medical subjects for my FSc, then changed direction and chose software engineering for my degree. I earned full merit scholarships for both my HSSC and my Bachelor's.

I completed my BS in Software Engineering at the National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E) in Lahore in 2024, with a CGPA of 3.67/4.0 and a place in the top three of my class. At university I was a core team member of Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC).

Learning Flutter by shipping

I started with Flutter and Dart in May 2021 as an intern at 7th Team, while I was still at university. In 2022 I joined AA IT Sol as a junior developer, where I worked with Google Maps, Firebase and Google ML Kit for object and face detection.

In 2023 I worked at DevLynx Technologies on more than 8 projects. One of them was Ermol Learner, a driving lesson booking app. Another was a merchandise marketplace integrated with the WooCommerce API.

From September 2023 to October 2024 I was a Flutter Developer at Sabroso. I led the development of the home delivery app with Bank Alfalah payments, built an enterprise app for attendance, field sales and asset tracking, mentored junior developers, and delivered client work that included an invoice and LPO system for a company in Dubai.

Verionyx Solutions

From April 2025 to August 2026 I was a Senior Flutter Developer at Verionyx Solutions, where I took client apps from requirements to release on the App Store and Google Play. Across these roles I shipped production apps for clients in several countries.

Now: a Master's at DUT

In September 2026 I moved to Dalian, China, to start a Master's in Software Engineering at Dalian University of Technology (DUT). Alongside my studies I work at the university as an AI research assistant. My research interests are machine learning, AI-driven systems for healthcare, large language models and incremental model training with few-shot learning. You can read more on the research page.
