Meta Staff – Enterprise Workforce Management App
A secure enterprise app that unifies staff attendance, field sales tracking, asset management and audit workflows.
Challenge
Sabroso Pakistan needed to streamline internal operations for both office and field teams. Attendance, field sales monitoring, asset management and audit workflows had to come together in one platform, with real-time reporting that still worked offline.
What I built
I designed and developed the entire app from scratch to deployment, then packaged it securely for internal use on company-managed devices.
- Geo-fenced attendance: attendance is logged only within a set office radius and validated by device ID and precise location
- Live location tracking for sales staff: uses the gyroscope, accelerometer and GPS, and keeps tracking offline with sync on reconnection
- Visitor logbook: a digital log of office visitors with timestamps and entry and exit records
- Asset management: QR code scanning and tracking of company-owned assets, with physical verification and audit tagging
- Customer and order management: the customer list with full history and new order logging
- Audit and reporting: staff log and track audit issues for processes, assets and field operations
- Security: access restricted by device ID binding and role-based permissions
Tech
Flutter with the Oracle APEX API. I integrated the backend logic for real-time sync, secure authentication and data storage, and implemented sensor-based tracking to log movement precisely. I tuned the app to handle large data sets with offline sync and low battery use.
Outcome
- Less manual tracking and paperwork, and more efficient audits and resource allocation
- More transparency for field teams through real-time and offline tracking
- Centralized internal operations, with better data accuracy and accountability across departments
- Stronger security, with usage bound to verified devices only
