Firefly Nightclub – Event Ticket Booking App
An event ticket booking and customer engagement app with coupons, loyalty rewards, QR tickets and an admin panel.
Challenge
A nightlife venue wanted guests to book event tickets, redeem coupons and earn loyalty and referral rewards through a modern, secure interface, while giving management real-time control over events, customer support and campaigns.
What I built
I designed and developed the user app, the admin panel and the ticketing system end to end.
User app
- Event discovery and booking: browse upcoming events and book tickets in the app, with Stripe checkout
- Coupon codes: apply promo codes at checkout
- Loyalty and referrals: a custom loyalty program and referral reward engine, tracked in the user profile
- Digital tickets: QR-based tickets, scanned at the entrance for check-in
- Push notifications: real-time alerts and event updates
Admin panel
- Manage users, bookings and events
- Create and track coupon codes and discounts
- View financial summaries and order logs
- Respond to customer support tickets and complaints
Tech
Flutter with Supabase for authentication, data storage and user and session management. I connected the checkout flow to the Stripe API, implemented QR scanning for entrance validation, configured OneSignal for campaign and event notifications, and set up a CI/CD pipeline for faster releases.
Outcome
- Digitized ticketing and access control, reducing queue time and human error at the door
- Made online payments and promo campaigns straightforward
- Added referral rewards to encourage guests to bring friends
- Gave club staff full control over events, orders and financial data through the admin panel
